I visited Alvins Off Road Playground with a group of 8 people and we had a lot of fun. The establishment is family owned and the staff are very friendly. They have about 75 acres of land that they take you out on off roading. Expect to get muddy especially if it has rained a couple of days prior to your visit. The off roading experience is about an hour long and they have a staff member that will take you out on a course through the woods and around the property. Overall we had a great time and would defintely recommend this for groups and families with children who are a little older.

Very professional and the staff is good to explain you the do’s and don’ts to avoid any mishaps. The level is pretty good for beginners and to learn a decent amount about off-roading. Lot of vehicles for a big group to avoid the wait times. Easy billing online and the registration at the counter too is very simple.

If I could give them 10 stars I would!! Just finished riding with them for a bachelor party, 6 of us some with experience some without. As long as everyone is riding well they’ll keep taking you on more difficult trails and when there are puddles or someone gets stuck they let you rip around and go ham! I forgot the guys names that toured with us but the owner Josh? Was great! I’m definitely going back there again when I’m out this way!!!

This was the best experience I had while in the Poconos. Not to mention the owners were simply amazing. The had great customer service and was helpful with calming my nerves. The tour guid was also great. He was very knowledgeable about the ATVs and coached us through step by step. It was so much fun and by the end of the tour I felt like a pro. We went for my boyfriends birthday and we just so happened to be the last tour of the day which made the experience that much better and intimate. I would definitely recommend Alvin’s Off-road Playground to anyone in the poconos area.

Awesome place!!! I went yesterday with my husband, and for me it was my first time. I fell and flipped the ATV almost immediately so our tour guide gave me a mini lesson so i could get comfortable. He stopped a few times and took pictures and videos for us and reall wanted to make sure we were having fun. We were able to pretty much go whereever we wanted and we could go fast too. I definitely reccomend this place to anyone who wants to have fun. I will definitely be back when my step son is old enough to ride in a year and a half!

Great place to ride with the kids. Enough terrain and space for them to ride and enjoy themselves. Plenty to do to enjoy the whole day. The staff was friendly and helped pull me out when I got stuck. They have a ton of rental machines and we followed a tour for a bit. They really give you your money’s worth. Can’t wait to go back again.

Looking for fun? Look no further! I had so much fun that I’m trying to put together a group trip to come down this summer so we can all get MUDDY AF.
I came down to PA for a weekend getaway with the boyfriend and decided to do something that we’ve both never done before. From the minute that I called them to inquire about their services and prices they were superb.
The staff was amazing. (This review is two months overdue so I can’t remember names for shit.) But when we got there, everyone was super friendly. I think they could tell that we were a little nervous because everyone was joking around. It’s was just good vibes all around. They answered all our questions. Were helpful with choosing the correct helmets especially for my big ass head. Honestly, they even gave us gloves free of charge because it was super cold that day. The staff was knowledgeable and it was just everything you needed to feel comfortable doing something you’ve never done before.
When I arrived at the location, I wasn’t really impressed. It just looked like flat land but boy was I wrong! The trail was fun. Our guide pretty much let us control the speed of the trail and we didn’t get bored or slowed down. There was a couple of oopsies! But he was great, helped us out when we got stuck and checked in to make sure we were ok. The trails were really enjoyable to me. Had bumps and humps and sharp turns and everything one could need.
I definitely recommend!

My dad and I spent the day here a few weeks ago. We had a great time. The staff was very nice. We brought my dirtbike and rode and then took the ATV Tour. Our tour guide was also very nice. The tour was great and was a ton of fun. We will definitely come back!

If you ar looking for something fun and taking an ATV and going faster than 5 to 10 mph I suggest this place! My firend and I came here as our first activity for my birthday trip in the Poconos! We decided to rent two ATV’s and had Shaun as our insrtuctor. Shaun was incredible, he took us through the trails and knew exactly when to slow down and wait for us and wouls gauge how we are doing and decide weather or not to take us through more off-roading trails, mud, small banks, or the giant dirt track. While on one of the turns my ATV got stuck and i jumped off. I was a little worried because i was last in line and couldnt see Shaun or my friend infront of me anymore. But before I knew it he appeared and hastily got everything back on track. For first timers like myself I suggest you to use your head and be safe. These are off-roading trails so it is bumpy with trees!….ect.

Gotta say, been waiting forever for someone to open up in the area and someone finnaly did. Absolutely love it here. Staff are excelent people. Its on the smaller side but it is somewhere you can rip and not get in trouble lol! Current a season Pass holder and will always be as long as I am in the area or they remain open. Love it!

This place was awesome!! My family and I were in the Poconos on vacation from Virgina. We were out one day and decided we had to find something to do and the reviews online led me to Alvins. We were not quite prepared for the weather. It was already cold but the temp did not stop us. The temp dropped another 10 degrees on the way up the mountain. So it was quite cold. When we arrived the staff asked is we had any additional cold weather gear because we would need it. When we told them we did not they litteraly took the clothes off their back sweatshirts, jackets, and gloves and gave them to me and my family to wear. It was totally awesome!! This was the highlight of our vacation. The ATVs were awesome and brand new. Jeremy took us out on the trails and took us through the entire park. We had a lot of fun on the ice and he really let us enjoy the ATVs. ….ect.
